One licence for the group

Billed annually to the organisation that carries the duty. Not a subscription for every venue, because the people on site are not the people with the problem.

Annual licence. All bands include every site, every user and the full export.

Bands are counted on premises in scope, not on premises owned. A group of forty pubs where nine cross 200 is priced as nine, not forty. Working out which are in scope.

When you should not buy this

If you run one venue, buy a single-venue tool instead. There are several at £19 to £38 a month and they do the job perfectly well for a single premises. Or use the free ProtectUK templates and a folder, which for one site is often genuinely enough. We would rather tell you that than take the money.

Why it costs more than £79 a month

Because it is a different product sold to a different person, and it is worth being direct about the comparison rather than hoping you do not make it.

The per-venue tools price per venue because they sell to the venue. That model has two consequences for a group. Adoption depends on forty separate managers each choosing to spend money, which in practice means partial coverage. And there is no group view, because nobody assembled one.

Musterlog is licensed to the organisation. The cost sits in one place, coverage is not optional, and the thing you are actually buying is the ability to answer for all of it at once. If you only need one site covered, that is genuinely worse value and you should buy the cheaper thing.

What is included

  • Every site in the band, with no per-seat charge. Unlimited managers, staff and volunteers.
  • Procedures, training records, drill logs, the group dashboard and the export.
  • Setting up your sites with you, rather than sending a login and wishing you luck.
  • Updates as the SIA guidance is finalised, at no extra cost.

There is no implementation fee, no per-export charge and no charge for adding a site mid-year within your band.

Pilots, until April 2027

Three groups are being taken before November, free of charge until April 2027, with at least one place held for an insurer or broker. A pilot is a one-paragraph letter of intent rather than a contract. Either side can walk away, and pricing is discussed before any paid term begins. Talk about a pilot.

For context on the numbers

The Home Office's own impact assessment budgeted in the region of £330 per premises per year for standard tier compliance. At the mid band, Musterlog works out below that per site once you are past about twenty-three premises, and well below it at scale. That is the comparison worth making, rather than the one against a single-venue subscription.
